Jaiganth Jewaratnam, MD, OHD
Dr. Jaiganth was born in Sungai Petani, Kedah and obtained his Medical Degree from Crimea State Medical University in 2011. He completed his housemanship at Hospital Tuanku Fauziah Kangar, Perlis in 2013 and moved on to serve as a medical officer in the same hospital in Orthopaedics and Traumatology department for three months then subsequently ventured into Anaesthesiology and Intensive Care for four years.
In 2017, Dr. Jaiganth left the government service and joined MyMed Clinic at the RAPID Project Petronas, Pengerang as an Occupational Health Doctor. Simultaneously, he was the Medical Director at Flying Doctor’s Asia SDN. BHD., attended the Clinical Consideration in Aeromedical Transfer (CCAT) course in Bangkok and has successfully completed over 100 aeromedical evacuations of injured, sick, and critically ill patients from various countries such as Australia, Guam, Korea, Singapore, Indonesia, Alaska and many others.
Aside from these, he also acquired his Fédération Internationale de Football Association (FIFA) diploma in Football Medicine in 2019 and was the official medical doctor for Perlis Football Association in 2019. His other certifications include Malaysian Trauma Life Support (MTLS), Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), Medical Review Officer (MRO) and Malaysian Aesthetics Certification (MAC) part 1.
Dr. Jaiganth has started doing LOCUM at Klinik Remedic Kangar and Klinik Remedic Arau since 2017 and joined Zip Zip Group Companies to oversee the newly opened Klinik Remedic Alor Setar in 2020. His various skills and extensive experience in would make a valuable addition to the organization. He is enthusiastic and passionate to the care of all patients regardless of age, gender, and ethnicity, placing their agenda over his and always strives to give his best to his patients and organization.
